Hello my dear fellow people of the globe and beyond..........In English that means; "Hello my dear fellow people of the globe and beyond". I happen to lack ownership of any fancy pants French words of choice that dwell in my vocabulary, and it seems that I (for a change) happen to be in an exquisitely fine mood so I am granting you (which is scarcely I may add) my deepest apologizes. When Christmas morning rolled around my brothers were bouncing screeching and spazzing around with excitement to open the gifts under the tree and just by the sound of it, it a person by any chance was taking a walk passed our house at that particular time would have got the impression that something horrifyingly traumatic was taking place in the Derouin house when my brothers opened a Nintendo Wii. My mother (now that we are on this subject) has not stopped playing the wii since we got it and has gained extreme skill on bowling. She wakes up every morning turns it on and plays non stop, its hillarious! She now is so into it that when shes not playing it, shes talking about it and making plans to go to the video game store to buy more games.....hah....Last night ( without her knowledge) I was making a video of her playing the Wii, and I thought it was perfect to show all of you! So try not to give her a bad time about it and enjoy this short film brought to you by Libby Derouin, and remember, please silence all cell phones and peepers. "Silence is Golden"
Love you all and miss you very much! Have a great New year:-)
Libby.

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas all! We had a nice quiet Christmas here at the Derouin household. Well, quiet except for Culley and I coughing our lungs out! Christmas time colds - big fun!
The kids and Marty have been boxing, playing tennis, bowling and boxing and eating and boxing...did I already say boxing? That seems to be the favorite Wii game today.
I apologize to everyone for not getting Christmas cards sent out. I was hit with this horrible cold just before Christmas and didn't everything done that I had planned on. So please consider this my Christmas card and know we are thinking of and loving each one of you, our dear friends and family.
Hope you all had a great day celebrating the birth of our Lord~
Laura for all the D's

Thanksgiving Weekend
We have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. We are thankful for great friends and family to share Thanksgiving with. We are thankful to God for bringing us through another year healthy. We are missing some of our family and friends but all in all it was a great Thanksgiving.
Marty took the entire week off and did two puzzles with the kids. They really got into them! We lost a piece to one of them so that was disappointing but the other turned out beautiful so we glued it. Not quite sure what we'll do with it now though...
We had a great time at Uncle Jeff's and Aunt Heidi's on Thanksgiving day. The Wii is a blast! Lisa, you would even approve of this kind of boxing :-) Caleb really got into it!
The day after Thanksgiving we got to spend some time with the Corwins and Kords. The kids played Apples to Apples and Game cube. Libby rested on the couch...she's a tired college student you know! Plus she had gotten up at the crack of dawn for "day after Thanksgiving shopping mania"!
We love you all and are Thankfull for each and everyone reading this!
Have a great day!

Okay April, this is for you...
Okay, I'm still working on figuring this thing all out, the video that I wanted to load wouldn't work so I clicked on "return to list of posts" and when I had tried to add that video several days ago it saved and now the video loaded! So now you will have to scroll down to see that video and the explanation (april) of how to load a video.
Have a great evening!

I love this video!! Was this 2 Christmases ago? I've been trying to figure out how to upload videos, this is the first one that has worked... not sure why but I'll keep trying.
For anyone who doesn't know - this is a video of our dear friends the Fludes, who now live in France. The two little ones are Ethan and Tawnee

The silly and the serious
Hi all,
It's been a few days so I thought I'd add a quick note and a few pictures of my beautiful children. Okay, you can't exactly tell from some of these pictures that they are beautiful but trust me, they are. :-)
Culley dressed up as a hippie for Halloween. He loved the look so much now he just wears it at random times and admires himself. LOL
Jordan... well, I'm not quite sure what to say about that picture but I'm sure it wont surprise those of you who know him!
Joe loves skateboarding these days.
Look who now loves to read! Caleb is enjoying a Ted Dekker series. He still however, does NOT like having his picture taken...
Libby is doing very well in her college classes and studying hard.
I'll have to find a picture of Britt some other time.
Have a great day!

Okay April, how to upload a video: Go to create a new post and click the icon up next to the "add image", the one that says "add video" a box will pop up and you browse your computer for the video you want to upload. You then have to give it a name and click the box that says you agree to the terms and then upload. Then you sit back and wait.... depending on the size of the video it may take some time. I usually go grab an ice tea or throw a load of laundry in while waiting...or give the hubby a big smooch in front of the kids, they love that! ;-)
Mitch and Pay, this was not meant to embarrass you at all...it was only for demonstrative purposes. :-)
Have a great day!

The rest of the D kids
Okay April - here you go!
Well, I figured I would go ahead and start a blog, not that I have anything interesting to say but so that April wouldn't bug me to DEATH about it ;-)
And it did sound like fun...
Here are the two youngest D's - Joe (red) and Jordan. This was at Freedom Fest this past summer. All the boys are long haired hippie dudes now!
I will post more kids pics later...
Hope you all have a great day!
Laura
